Every time an appeal for The Donkey Sanctuary would appear on the tv my mom always made a comment about wanting to support it as she thought the plight of the donkeys was overshadowed by other charity appeals. Over the years friends have made donations and on her 90th birthday she 'adopted' a donkey. Mom enjoyed the photos and history of her adopted animal and this seemed like a fitting charity to raise finds for following her death.
